Privacy Policy (GDPR)

Protecting your personal data is very important to me. I process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this Privacy Policy, I inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of my work as a coach and hypnotherapist.

2. Personal Data Collected

  • First and last name
  • Address and contact details (email, and optionally WhatsApp)
  • Information provided in the intake form (e.g., personal concerns, goals)
  • Notes from coaching and hypnotherapy sessions
  • Audio recordings from sessions or personalized audios (only with your explicit consent)
  • Payment information (e.g., bank details for transfers)

3. Purpose of Processing

  • Carrying out the agreed coaching or hypnotherapy program
  • Creating personalized hypnosis or coaching audios
  • Organizing appointments and communicating with you
  • Meeting legal obligations (e.g., accounting and tax retention requirements)

4. Legal Basis

Data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 GDPR:

  • lit. a: Consent (e.g., intake form details, audio recordings)
  • lit. b: Contract performance (execution of the agreed program)
  • lit. c: Legal obligation (e.g., retention of invoices)

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

Your data will not be shared with third parties. Disclosure only takes place in the following exceptional cases:

  • if you have explicitly consented,
  • if there is a legal obligation, or
  • if there is an acute danger to your life or the life of another person, and disclosure is necessary to protect health and safety.

6. Data Retention

  • Contract and contact data: retained for the duration of the program and in line with legal retention periods (usually 7 years for invoices).
  • Intake forms, session notes, and audio recordings: stored for a maximum of 12 months after the program ends, unless you explicitly request longer retention.

7. Communication (Email / WhatsApp)

Communication may also take place via WhatsApp if agreed. Please note that WhatsApp is an external provider outside the EU. For sensitive information, I recommend using email or discussing matters during our sessions.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data I hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw previously given consent (e.g., for the use of audio recordings)

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can contact me directly or lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority.
